1. Do you accept cash?

Yes we accept cash, however you must pay the deposit online in order to book the session. We book everything online, that's how we stay organized and keep our books straight. Pay your deposit online, get a confirmation of your date/time and pay your remainding balance when you come to the studio. It's that simple. See you soon!

2. Can we smoke in the studio?

No Smoking is allowed inside the control rooms or the booth near microphone but We do have a smoke balcony called "Blunt Rd" that is connected to the vocal booth and you can go smoke out there during your session. No cigarettes or Cigars, go outside for that.

3. How many people can we bring to the studio?

You are allowed (3) guest only meaning no more than 4 people all together in Studio. So just to be clear, No extra people are allowed or you will be charged $50/hr per person.

We are dealing with COVID-19, this pandemic has changed how local businesses operate so we must follow CDC Guidelines and protect our staff and clients at all times. Thanks

4. What happens if we are running late?

If you are 30 mins late and your session is only 1hr than you have 30 minutes left. We book everything online, we send studio info to your email the minute you book your session so you should have no excuses why your late. Please don't waste studio time. 

5. Does Studio Time include Mixing and Mastering?

No...Hourly studio time is for recording vocals only. Studio time does comes with a "quick mix" which is standard mixing on your vocals but that is not your final mix or final master. Book your hourly session today and learn how the professionals record music correctly.

6. Do you have Autotune?

Yes we have autotune and every plugin you need to become the next Drake or Beyonce. 

We record in Pro Tools as well as Logic Pro X if you are bringing an outside session.

7. Can we download Beats off Youtube?

Yes you can, that time to download your beats counts as your studio time no matter how many beats you have to download. FYI, we strongly suggest you bring your own beats or get your custom beats so you can own your masters and make money off your music. 

8. Can we film in the studio?

Yes you can film and take pictures but do not bring a full camera crew or try to shoot a music video without studio permission. We have interns and engineers who sometimes don't want to be on camera so please let us know your plans before your session. Contact the studio before session to let us know your plans so we can be prepared the studio staff.

9. Can we bring kids to the studio?

We do not allow small children in the studio so If they are under 12 yrs old, you must find a babysitter before you come to the studio. Absolutely no small children are allowed in the studio unless you paid for summer camp or school program using Dream 1st Studios.

10. How do I get my files?

You should bring your hard drive to every session! Make sure you have your hard drive with you at all times so we can put your files on there. We can airdrop your song to your apple device or we can email your session if you do not have a hard drive. We are not responsible for any lost files on your hard drive and we only backup files for 2 years only.
